Gerhard and Valerie were born and raised in South Africa. After their marriage, they felt that the Lord was calling them into a ministry amongst the children of France.

They were missionaries in their home country before leaving for France in 1998, where they served the Lord for 6 years. In 2004 they felt the Lord calling them on to Kilchzimmer to take up the responsibility for the house, staff, guests and general organisation of the Headquarters.

Since their arrival, they have also taken on the development of a Member Care program for CEF of Europe. They have a daughter, Valene (1992) and a son, Merveille (1997).

• Pray that the Lord will accomplish His plan for the centre.
• Pray that the staff will stay close to the Lord in their relationship with Him.
