“If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here.” Exodus 33:15

Dear CEF workers in Europe,

As it was announced on Sunday afternoon at conference, we plan to start a new prayer initiative called HOPE for EUROPE. As part of this, we will meet on zoom each month.

The meetings will take place on the first Wednesday of the month (7 Sep, 5 Oct, 2 Nov, 7 Dec etc.) at 10:00 (swiss time).

We will offer translation for this via zoom. Please let me know who can translate for your language (if needed). The prayer time will last approximately 45 minutes.

The link is below and will always be the same:

Prayer requests for Ukraine – 06.12.22

Praise God for:
  • The many teachers who have been trained to conduct Christmas Party Clubs.
  • The children who have attended Christmas Party Clubs and have heard the wonderful Bible lesson on Immanuel – God with us.
Please pray for:
  • Each worker as they continue to reach the children and that they will know safety as they travel.
  • A constant electricity supply in the homes.
  • The internet connection that it will be available when needed for holding clubs or training sessions.
  • The children who hear God’s Word that they will understand what they hear and many will trust in Jesus as their Saviour.

Prayer requests for Ukraine – 01.11.22

Praise God for:
  • His gracious hand of protection over our brothers and sisters since the war began eight months ago.
  • Every single Gospel backpack which has been given to a child in Ukraine or a neighbouring country.
  • His Word which reminds us that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” Psalm 46 v 1.
  • Each opportunity He has given to the workers to share the Gospel with children and young people.
  • The young people and adults God has burdened to seek training to reach the children in their localities.
Please pray for:
  • A constant supply of electricity and internet for the workers so that they can communicate with others.
  • Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual strength for our brothers and sisters. Pray that as the days and weeks go by without resolution that God will give them His grace for each new day. “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” 2 Corinthians ch 12 v 9.
  • The workers as they plan for Christmas clubs. Pray that God will show them where to hold the clubs and that they will know that they are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty.
  • The salvation of many precious souls as God’s Word is shared in Christmas clubs.
  • Faithful prayer warriors to see God’s will done in this situation and that we will “pray without ceasing”.

Prayer requests from Ukraine – 06.10.22

Praise God for:
  • The camps which were held over the summer months in various locations throughout Ukraine and for God’s hand of safety upon all involved.
  • The churches who are involved in providing shelter, food and sharing spiritual food with the adults and children of Ukraine.

Please pray for:
  • The children in Ukraine and those who are now refugees in other countries that they will have access to education either online or in person.
  • God to continue to sustain physically and spiritually each worker as they continue to reach boys and girls with the Gospel.
  • The planning of an online TCE 1 in Ukrainian and Russian. Please pray that God will challenge people to take this course and give them a burden to share His Word with others.

Prayer requests from Ukraine 25.08.22

Praise God for:
  • Each individual camp and outreach event held in Ukraine and other parts of Europe by our workers over this special summer.
Please pray for:
  • The follow-up work with the children and teenagers who attended camps.
  • Wisdom for the workers as they plan and prepare to begin Good News Clubs again in September, pray that God will make this possible and that His hand of protection will be over the children and leaders.
  • The existing camps that it will be possible to start them again in September.
  • The workers who have been involved in summer ministry that they will know a time of rest before the autumn ministries. Pray that they will be encouraged by what God is doing and will do among the children and teenagers.
Psalm 86 v 9 All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name.

Prayer requests from Ukraine 06.08.22

Praise God for:

  • The children and teenagers who have attended camps.
  • The teenagers who attended having many questions because of the war.  Many of them were far away from their homes, friends and are worried because their fathers serve in the military.

Please pray for:

  • The teenagers to put their trust in Christ and that they will receive answers to their questions.
  • The protection and salvation of their family members who serve in the military.
